My card today features Colorbox fluid chalk pads which happen to be on Sale at Rubbernecker as well as the mini scor-it board. I love this handy board for scoring nice crisp folds.
Here's a couple cards using Rubbernecker images:
The card base was stamped with Wheat Border and Canvas Screen Background. (it really is stamped on the whole base, it just didn't photograph well on the upper portion of the card) Grand maize was inked with chalk inks as well, stamped and masked and then I stamped one more ear of corn w/o reinking the stamp. Chalk inks include: Burnt Sienna, Dk. Moss, Olive Pastel, Dk. Brown & Yellow Ochre. The tag is a Spellbinders Dbl. ended tag that was embossed and sponged with chalk ink before popping it out of the die. The sentiment was inked with a dark brown marker because I only used a portion of the Have a Festive Fall! stamp. The layers were roughed up with an edge distresser and the card is finished with wide organdy in olive and stitched ribbon by May Arts.
My second card is for today's color challenge and my DH's 50th birthday today! I didn't want to make the typical black & white over the hill card, so the kraft black and rose red colors worked out perfectly. I used some of my favorite DP from DejaViews attic collection and images from
Rubbernecker Stamp Co. The key hole is Lil Davis Designs, numbers are Spare Parts and I believe the key is also Lil Davis Designs. The ribbon was black & white, so I colored the white using a Copic E33 marker. Have a great Tuesday!
