Time Flies RNDT_SaK 002

Arrrrrrr ye mateys, it be a Tuesday and ya know what that means. It’s Treasure Hunt Tuesday at Rubbernecker Stamp Company.

Put ye swashbuckling skills to the test and plunder all the treasure that be waitin’ fer ya. Set sail along with me mates and join us fer the first clue.

I am offering Blog Candy today. Be sure to leave a comment on this post for a chance to win $10 in Rubbernecker Bucks. Along ye way, there is another port ya need be stoppin’ at. There be some extra Smiley from millan.net to be found on Jules Blog as well. After ye stops there, head on over to Rubbernecker where ye will find the first clue and more deets on how ya may claim ye bounty! Smiley from millan.net While ye are sailing around today, make sure ye stop and visit the rest of me mates, Tami, Broni, and Linda & Tami.

Now for the card: Images are all available from Rubbernecker Stamp Co. I used a Pearlized Distress mist to create the acrylic resist. Colors include, Tea Dye ink/blush perfect pearls, Red Brick ink/red perfect pearls & Scattered Straw ink/bronze perfect pearls. After stamping the angel boy, I lightly highlighted him with copic markers and some Sakura Stardust gel pen. The wings are Tim Holtz grungeboard that was painted with Frayed Burlap crackle paint. They were sponged with tea dye distress ink and black soot. Clock faces, brads and the dymo label were added to finish it off. Hope you like it as much as I do!

My 2nd card is for CC180, the color challenge at Splitcoast today. Yummy colors - Blush, Ruby, Cocoa. I only used Blush and Cocoa CS. The red layer is actually cocoa CS that was embossed with the baroque background (a fave of mine) using Tattered Rose Distress EP. The red tone comes from the Pearlized Shimmer Distress mist made by combining a dropper full of Fired Brick Distress Reinker, a little Red Perfect Pearls and water. The Blush layer was inked with Tattered Rose Distress ink, rock n rolled in Fired Brick, misted with water and stamped. I sponged the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink and also stamped the sentiment with it. The photo corners are from Spellbinders Hdw. & Hinges Shapeabilities set.
