OK, so today's challenge was to use paint of any kind on our card. I used Tim Holtz Distress crackle paint/Antique Linen. My top layer is white cardstock that was covered with crackle paint almost to the edges. After dry, I used TH Distress ink/Aged Mahogany DTP over the crackle finish. Some antique linen highlights showed through which I liked, so I layered on saffron CS and then a burgandy top fold card. The crackle layer was stamped with Stazon inks in black and brown. The pocket watch is stamped on acetate and cut out. The photo anchor is Tim Holtz metalz travel collection. Stamps include: Time Face 1612 SO, How do I love thee script 246-13, Diamond Border 1341 SO, Solid Diamond 1546 SO. The card was finished with 3/4" twill tape secured with a sq. shaped clip and brads. The friend sentiment is a rub on. (wasn't sure how that would work but it was not an issue)

  1. How cool! I loved how you used the crackle paint and the clock face on acetate is great! I really like the rub-on on the twill too!

  2. Wow! I love so many things about this card -- the twill, the clock, the collage look itself -- it's just an awesome design!
