Music & Soul

For today's Ways to use it challenge. Speciality papers we have been hoarding. Well, I bought this textured/pearlized white embossed swirl DP because it reminded me of vintage Lincrusta wallpaper that is textured and painted. We have it in several rooms in our historic home including on the ceilings. (coulda just used wallpaper scraps, LOL!) So, I started out with the intention of making a kraft/white card and ended up here. The finished card is 5 1/2" square. The tatted trim is vintage lace and the key is also vintage from my stash. The embossed butterfly is a Cuttlebug embossing folders/die set and the tole flower is a Spellbinders shapeabilities die from the daisy heads set. The leaves are glass charms. Images are available from Innovative Stamp Creations. I used a music background from Summer Elements sheet, Flourish from the Fancy Designs sheet and sentiment from Art Phrases. (says "music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything." Have you been following my sneak peeks for ISC last week? The new images have been released. Check out the new stamps Here!
