IC129 Schumacher Flourishes

I love the inspiration challenge and today's inspiration was some advertising from an interior design company. I chose the burgandy ad as seen here. The Flourishes are by the Paper Studio and the package is Studio G. I embossed the flourishes with Tim Holtz tattered rose distress EP. The frame was made by punching a 1/14" square in the middle of a piece of burgandy cardstock and then trimming the edges to make an even border. I then had to go back with the punch and make my opening a little more rectangle when I decided on the image to put inside. Too much of the pretty crushed velvet and lace was covered up when I added the layer, so I cut slits and pulled the trim through the frame. The variegated organdy is by May Arts and was heated so it crinkled. I finished it off by sponging the edges of my layers in black and adding a pearl head pin.
