This is for today's Sketch challenge. I had to flip my small strip to the opposite side when I realized that it wasn't going to work over on the right without covering up the dragons head. No time to make another card today.... Images were stamped on polished stone layers using Stazon Black CS. the dragon was colored with a red marker and the white areas were made using a scratch tool to remove the ink and get back to the core of the paper. The fortune strip was from a DCWV asian paper pack. Stamps and supplies are available from Rubbernecker Stamp Co. I used asian symbol background 187-3, Asian Frame 252-08 (for the red frame around the sentiment) Affairs of Dragons Text 251-08, and Dragon which I can't find the number for right off. Adirondack alcohol ink colors are: Red Pepper, Latte, Espresso and Gold Mixative.

ReplyDeleteLOVE that red dragon! And that sentiment has always been one of my favorites! My daughter and I are both fans of dragons and dragon stories!

ReplyDeleteGreat technique! I love that sentiment too! Great card!
ReplyDeleteInstrument for stamping? I have a one track mind.
ReplyDeleteDepending on my mood, I love the sound of a harp. I would watch Marx Brother movies and my favoite part was Harpo playing a harp.
