There is also Blog Candy to be given away by Sherry and Linda today. We are also celebrating as a Design Team because Linda Duke has agreed to stay on as a member of our Design Team family after her Guest spot. Congratulations and Welcome Linda!!!!!
My bookmark measures 3 1/8" x 6" Images and supplies are all available from Rubbernecker Stamp co. The face & flourish were stamped in Stazon Jet Black, the keys, Art & imagination in Stazon Timber Brown. The solid diamond, script and sponging were all done with distress inks because they stay wet longer and blend well when misted. I used a Sakura gold stardust gel pen to highlight the keys na flourish. The eye and keys were also filled in with copic markers. Edges were scraped with a toothbrush inked with Versafine Vintage Sepia. I like using versafine ink for this because it is a pigment oil based ink that works well for the distressed scratchy look I like on the edges. Fibers are BasicGrey & May Arts, the chain and baubles are part of an old piece of jewelry and I added a key charm to the end. The tag was misted with Perfect Pearls (pearl color) mixed with water for a nice shimmer. I did iron the tag flat before attaching the fibers.
